Maintain A Health Beautiful Smile!

At Modern Dental Arts, we believe that a healthy smile starts with regular dental cleanings and check ups. Whether it’s your first appointment or a life long patient, our team is dedicated to making sure your teeth and gums remain healthy and pain free.

The Importance Of Regular Dental Check Ups

Maintaining regular dental cleanings and dental check ups is crucial for preserving your oral health, but also for preventing any potential dental problems down the road. Here is why routine visits are so important:

Early Detection Of Dental Issues

During your dental exam, our team can identify if there are any warning signs of dental problems such as, hum disease, tooth decay or signs of oral cancer. Early detection allows for less invasive treatments and less pain.

Prevent Cavities and Gum Disease

Regular dental cleanings allows us to remove plaque and tartar build up that brushing and flossing alone doesn't remove. This helps prevent cavities and lowers your risk of developing gum disease.

Make Your Smile Shine

Professional cleanings not only improves your overall oral health, but also enhances the appearance of your smile. We're able to remove surface stains and polishing teeth that leads to a brighter more vibrant smile.

Meet Dr. Rita Snyder

I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, and then moved to Florida at a young age. My dental education was initially completed in Egypt from 2007 to 2012. However, upon my arrival in the United States, I needed to earn my degree again. I did so in 2015, beginning with my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville (Go Gators!). I was very fortunate to study dentistry once again at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and I graduated in 2020. I believe in constantly continuing my education for the benefit of my patients, and I earned a fellowship in Digital Dentistry in 2021 and am currently working towards a second fellowship.

Common Questions We Hear

What is a dental exam?

A dental exam is the part of your visit where the Dr. Snyder evaluates the health of your teeth, gums, and mouth. She will check for signs of cavities, gum disease, oral cancer, and other dental issues. The exam ensures your oral health is on track and helps detect problems early.

What is a dental check-up?

A dental check-up is a routine visit to your dentist to assess your overall oral health. It typically includes a professional cleaning to remove plaque and tartar, an oral exam to check for cavities or gum issues, and sometimes X-rays to identify any hidden problems.

How much do dental cleanings cost with no insurance?

The cost of a dental cleaning without insurance can vary depending on the services you select. We do offer options such as cash pay or in office dental plans to help patients without insurance.

How often should I get a dental cleaning?

We recommend getting a dental cleaning every six months to maintain healthy teeth and gums. However, we may suggest more frequent visits if you have specific oral health concerns, such as gum disease or a history of cavities.
